Sindhology means knowledge about Sindh. Sindh, where 5000 years old Indus
civilization was born,and its river Indus (Sindhu Darya) have existed since
antiquity. Hence the scope of Sindhology comprises the study of antiquities, the
relics,and history both of ancient and modern Sindh with particular reference to
her culture,society and classic literature.
